  • You will repair extensive faults in electronic devices on your own.During the training, we make sure that each participant has the opportunity to use the acquired skills by independently removing faults that require advanced analysis of technical documentation.
  • You will measure and analyze the operation of motherboards.During the training, we explain the dependence of systems made in very low lithography on much less advanced solutions. We present the dependence of the slave lines powering the CPU, RAM, CHIPSET, etc. on the so-called main power supply. We will show the dependencies between branches in relation to the operating states of the device.
  • You will measure and interpret the startup procedure signals.ACPI is a standard widely used in both x86 and ARM architectures. By knowing the basic dependency procedures, you will be able to precisely determine and locate the component that prevents the device from starting. You will find that the lines 5VL, 5VALW, 5VSUS and 5VS, while seemingly similar, will depend on different states of the computer.
  • You will work fluently with the diagram and boardview.Proper analysis of the device diagram requires knowledge of generally accepted and manufacturer-specific principles and rules. Mastering them significantly shortens the diagnostics time.

Online training form
online via the ZOOM platform from 08:45 to 16:00. Thanks to the large infrastructure connected to the logistics department, you will receive all the service equipment needed to complete the course by courier for the duration of the training. After completing the training, the equipment is also collected by courier. The cost of transport/shipping both ways is already included in the training price.

On-site training format

Classes are conducted in specially prepared and adapted rooms.

Room No. 1 consists of 6 workstations where training participants gain theoretical and practical knowledge.

Room No. 2 consists of 6 workstations where training participants gain theoretical and practical knowledge.

Room no. 3 consists of 8 workstations where training participants gain theoretical and practical knowledge.

Online training equipment

What we send during the training:

tip soldering iron, hot air soldering iron, laboratory power supply with cables, smoke vapor absorber, EPZ programmer, silicone soldering mat, measurement probe, multimeter, ESD brush, pendrive, box with small service tools: (set of necessary screwdrivers, opener , spatula, tweezers, knife, soldering binder, absorbent tape, flux, binder extractor, pliers, isopropanol, prepared laptops/motherboards with ready-made faults, visualizer, antistatic apron.

Day schedule

8:45 - Start of training.

10:15-10:30 - Break 15 min.

12:00-12:45 - Lunch break 45 min.

14:15-14:30 - 15 min break

16:00 - End of training.

Each student completing the training on site has coffee from an espresso machine, biscuits, tea and water at their disposal. Lunch is included in the price of the training.

Certificate

After completing the training, each participant receives a Notebook Master certificate and an electronic certificate.

The certificate contains: the name and surname of the participant, the name of the training, the number of hours of training, the name and address of the organizer, the deadline for completing the training, the certificate number and the date of issue, the MSUES quality mark and the mark of entry into the Register of Training Institutions (RIS). Moreover, after completing each stage of training, the participant receives a certificate confirming its completion. The document contains the above information and the name of the stage.

Teaching materials

After the course, you will receive training materials that will help you improve your knowledge when working independently as a service technician repairing electronic equipment.

Why does the training have to last 5 days?Rozwiń

Electronics repair training is a technical training that requires high manual precision, thinking and perceptiveness from the participant. Consolidating these skills requires discussion of many topics. In short, a lot of analysis, soldering, replacing elements. A few days are the necessary minimum for each module to absorb the acquired knowledge effectively.

 

Will I repair faults during this training?Rozwiń

During the training, which lasts as long as 5 days, with knowledge in the first area, you will receive defects prepared for repair. Your task will be to analyze the diagram, perform measurements, make a diagnosis and then repair the board so that it works properly.

 

How many faults will I remove during this stage?Rozwiń

Everyone works on a separate case. If you get past the first glitch that leads to a short-circuit test, you'll get another, more difficult one. Damaged converters, damaged control systems lead you to the most difficult faults, where the motherboard shows no dysfunction in basic measurements, but there is no signal to complete the start procedure.

 

Can I skip this step?Rozwiń

This part of the course is devoted to detailed learning how to work with technical documentation. It will require your maximum concentration and 100% attention. Without the knowledge acquired during this training, it will be difficult for you to find your way when trying to diagnose complex faults. However, if you have already learned all the topics on the agenda, we cordially invite you to learn how to solder BGA systems and use an oscilloscope. Also try your hand at the workshops offered by the fourth stage.

 

How can you learn electronics online?Rozwiń

Based on our service and training experience, we have developed a system of effective remote learning. Remote learning can be as effective as on-site learning. We make sure to provide you with all the tools/equipment necessary for training. Your task will be to arrange them ergonomically. For some devices, you will also be able to use your workshop equipment. By working remotely, you will have the comfort of learning in your favorite space, while having the resources from our stationary workstation. In practice, the effects of remote learning will depend on the same as in the case of its stationary counterpart - due to the highly technical type of training, your 100% attention will be needed. During the training, make sure you have a place where no one will distract you during the course - you will see that learning even such a technical topic as electronics repair can be effective remotely!

 

Do you provide advice on setting up your own service station?Rozwiń

At the first stage of our training, you will receive a lot of practical information about the selection of equipment, service chemicals and effective tools. You will also learn about the multitude of useful addresses on the Internet and how to obtain technical documentation. We will also show the sets of diagnostic applications necessary for every technician and how to use them.

 

What discs does the student work on?Rozwiń

While performing the directed exercises, which constitute the majority of the training, all students work on identical boards. You will get both functional (to investigate dependency processes) and damaged (to repair) devices. We make sure to present as many design aspects as possible, showing small differences and numerous similarities in subsequent generations. Therefore, the course will feature boards with various x86 architectures, dominated by Intel and AMD systems. In the workshop part, everyone has an individual case - you can work both with equipment provided by us or with your own. By removing the fault on the motherboard, you will be able to check for yourself whether you have made the correct diagnosis and repair, verifying the correct operation of the device. The number of repaired boards depends on the pace of your work. The faults you will have to deal with include: short circuits in power supply branches, damaged active elements, failures of logic and power supply systems - in short, a full range of possibilities.

 

Do I need to prepare before the training?Rozwiń

We design our training so as not to absorb your time outside the course hours. Mastering the knowledge from the first stage is enough to start learning how to work with technical documentation. In the case of the online form, we recommend checking the sent equipment with the provided checklist and preliminary preparation of the workstation to be able to effectively acquire knowledge during meetings.
